For our careers component we were given a project where we had to choose a profession and talk about it in front our classmates using power point or other presentation techniques. I chose App designer.
Job Description
An application designer develops a software based on the specific needs of a group of end-users. They determine what the target group's expectations are for a particular piece of software (such as mobile apps or computer games) and then create a plan for the design of the software.
Expected Hours Worked Per Day/Week
To create and launch one app, designers must work on the app constantly for at least 6-8 weeks. It may even take more time depending on what the app is being used for. They usually work from 9 A.M. to about 5 or 6 P.M. Their work schedule also depends on what role they play in creating the app, some people ,may have less responsibilities than others.
Earning Potential
App designers in Canada make an annual salary of anywhere from $56, 000 to $ $112, 000. They also get bonuses depending on how well an app does.
